What’s the difference between collagen powder and protein powder? 

Collagen and protein powders are dietary supplements, meaning they are meant to supplement your whole-food based diet. The body requires 9 essential amino acids that it cannot make on its own and must obtain from food. Collagen supplies 8 of these, making it an incomplete protein, though it still effectively supports recovery and healthier joints, bones, hair, skin, nails, and GI tract. Protein powder contains all 9 essential amino acids, making it a complete source of dietary protein and can be substituted for any lean protein to support lean tissue and build muscle.

Is it vegan?

Is it allergen friendly?

Yes. HydroBEEF protein is just beef... that's it. If your diet allows for beef than you can have this  protein. Our finished product adds L-glutamine, MCT powder (coconut), probiotics and stevia. Specifically, Grass Fed Protein is paleo, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, egg free, peanut  free, legume free, hormone free & antibiotic free.

Are FASTer Way proteins hydrolyzed and what does that mean?

Yes! Our protein has undergone hydrolysis, which means the amino acids have been broken down, making them easier for your body to absorb.

The beef is obtained via a unique manufacturing process  that uses high temperatures combined with pressure which obtains optimal hydrolysis of the raw  beef material. Unlike products that use whey protein, absolutely no chemicals are used to  extract the bioavailable peptides. Instead through this chemical free process of hydrolysis and ultra-filtration you can “split” the protein down and increase the number of fragments  associated with the higher number of amino acids increasing absorption of amino acids and  protein.

Does this offer a complete protein?

Can I use this as a meal replacement? 

At the FASTer Way, we focus on whole-food nutrition by choosing foods that come from the ground and have a mother, first and foremost. While our protein powder is not designed to replace a meal, it is a great dietary supplement, especially on days that you do not feel like chewing your protein or can’t possibly eat another bite of chicken or beef. It’s great in a smoothie or on it’s own with non-dairy milk or water.

What is the recommended daily use? 

We recommend adding to your daily dietary intake either to break your fast, post-workout, or for an afternoon smoothie or shake to meet your daily protein needs. DIRECTIONS: Add 1 scoop to 8-12 ounces of your favorite beverage.

Are there any carbohydrates in this product? 

Yes, there are trace amounts of carbohydrates in our grass-fed protein, coming from natural flavor and cocoa powder. Since the carbohydrate profile is so negligible, it’s still perfect for low carb days!

Can I mix it with just water?

Yes. Beef protein mixes very well in room temperature water making it a perfect post-workout recovery drink (we recommend using a blender for best results). Additionally we have many people who mix it in smoothies and even mix it with hot water to create a protein enhanced hot chocolate.
